Ant and Dec arrive at the filming of Britain’s Got Talent auditions last yearAnt and Dec have admitted they got off on the wrong foot with the royal staff while staying at one of King Charles’ homes.In 2016, the award-winning presenters spent time in the future King’s company for an ITV documentary commemorating 40 years of his charity The Prince’s Trust.Reflecting on this during an appearance on Friday’s edition of The Graham Norton Show, Ant McPartlin recalled: “We were following [King Charles] for a year for a TV show and got on really well with him.“We were asked if we would like to spend the night at the house ahead of the final interview. We were like ‘Hell, yes’. It was amazing and everything you’d imagine.”Ant continued: “I tried on the robe that was in my room and ran out into the corridor to find Dec… and there was [King Charles]. He said hello and started talking to me about pruning roses. I was so embarrassed.”Declan Donnelly then added: “We then had wine in the room and got a bit noisy.
