A former Labour MP has been charged with one count of sexual assault relating to an allegation from July 2022.Conor McGinn, 41, has been charged with one count of sexual assault in connection to an allegation of sexual assault made by a woman in July 2022.Mr McGinn is the former Labour MP for St Helens North, having represented the seat between 2015 and 2024.He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday, February 27.
