Perry Lane Hotel collaborates with SCADPro for grand transformation of Peregrin rooftop

Perry Lane Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, now unveils the revamped Peregrin rooftop bar and lounge, overlooking historic downtown Savannah. Collaborating with SCADPro, the innovation studio of Savannah College of Art and Design, Peregrin introduces an innovative conservatory-inspired experience, fusing indoor and outdoor contemporary design with exceptional culinary offerings and botanical cocktails, all amidst the captivating backdrop of Savannah’s skyline.

Conceived by SCADPro, Peregrin transforms into a captivating conservatory, blending Savannah’s heritage with modern elegance and global influences. Guests are greeted with a sanctuary-like ambiance featuring lush foliage, a nature-inspired mural, and a bar enveloped in greenery resembling an open bird cage. The outdoor patio boasts comfortable lounge seating and high-top tables amidst a unique turf and concrete block paver design, evoking the imaginary backyard of Adelaide, the muse of Perry Lane Hotel.

“Our collaboration with SCADPro for this evolution allows us to tap into the most innovative and fresh ideas in design and hospitality,” says Matthew Douzuk, General Manager of Perry Lane Hotel. “The elements that Savannahians and our guests love about Peregrin still remain while introducing an entirely unique experience that we believe will excite and inspire.”

Embracing the conservatory theme, bespoke botanical cocktails and herb-infused dishes offer a sensorial delight. The design team, comprising 12 SCAD students with diverse backgrounds, brings together expertise in architecture, interior design, preservation, furniture design, graphic design, advertising, branding, motion media design, and luxury management. This international collaboration infuses Peregrin with creativity and innovation.

Peregrin serves as an elevated gathering space for both guests and locals, offering an exquisite setting for social events and celebrations. Executive Chef Daniel Herget’s culinary creations, inspired by the conservatory setting, feature globally influenced delights such as Dolmas, Laarb, Chaat, Whipped Feta, and Bao Bun. Additionally, Peregrin plans to introduce new programming, including greenhouse happy hours, botanical mixology classes, garden cinema series, secret garden suppers, and more, promising memorable experiences for visitors.
