“If you vote for a Reform government, my promise is this. We will secure our borders and stop the invasion and deport every illegal migrant in the country”, he said.“We will get our police focused on one thing, detecting crime investigating crime and arresting criminals.“No more painting police cars in pride flags or dancing in the streets. That is what our brave police officers are crying out for.“We will avert the Boris-wave fiscal disaster that is looming. We will protect British culture. I am not a Christian myself, but the Christian heritage of this country is vitally important to its culture.“A country without a culture is simply an economic zone. We will grant all churches in this country listed status and create a new class to ensure they are not turned into a place of worship for any other faith.”Cameron put it to Mr Yusuf that Reform would likely face a torrent of legal obstacles were they to press ahead with such plans. The previous Tory government was unable to send illegal migrants to Rwanda because of a European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruling.A Nigel Farage-led government would simply change the law to its will, Mr Yusuf explained.LATEST DEVELOPMENTS“We will leave the ECHR immediately”, he told GB News.“The rights of a convicted foreign rapist have been given primacy over British citizens. It’s unacceptable.“We will make sure we take back the pen and ensure British Parliament is sovereign.“We will not let people stand in our way. If the House of Lords stand in our way, which I hope they don’t. We have to have a border. British borders have not meant anything for as long as we can remember.“Almost 200,000 people have turned up on our beaches uninvited over the last eight years and people on the left take issue with me using the term ‘invasion’, that is what is happening.”Mr Yusuf said there are “several components” to his plan which he hopes will see all illegal migrants sent back to their country of origin.“Number one, we have to leave the ECHR. We also have to derogate from a host of other international treaties on an emergency basis.“We will create an agency, we will call it the UK Deportation Command. That agency will have one task. One mission. Identify and detain illegal migrants.“It will ramp detention capacity up to 24,000 people. We will have charter flights going and the RAF on hand if there are mechanical issues with the chartered flights.”Reform’s plans for an Ice-style agency to detain and deport illegal migrants has come in for criticism from the incumbent government.A Labour spokesman said Britain is a “proud, tolerant and diverse nation” which stands in opposition to the “divisive politics stoked by Reform”.
