Police have delivered an update to media after an armed man in his early 20s was shot and killed in early hours of Sunday morning after unlawfully entering the secure perimeter at Mar-a-Lago.He was killed by a deputy from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office at around 1.30am local time after “raising shotgun to a shooting position” directed at officers.The man was ordered to drop the items he was carrying when approached by two Secret Service agents and a deputy.Now, the Sheriff of Palm Beach County Rick Bradshaw has confirmed the intruder was shot dead and an image of the shotgun involved. He confirmed the man in his 20s was white.Meanwhile, Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said the suspect hailed from North Carolina, having been reported several days ago by his family.
